Shopping
Consider it walking with benefits, a great way to bag a wonderful day!
Take a break from the beach and enjoy a shop-hop. Historic downtown Port St. Joe is a great place to browse a day away with a half-mile stroll back in time through an area rich in history and brimming with new energy. The Reid Avenue shopping district continues to evolve into a more vibrant destination each year with locally-owned boutiques, sidewalk bistros and day spas. Downtown Port St. Joe also hosts The SaltAir Farmers’ Market (every 1st & 3rd Saturday except January) with farm fresh produce, clothing, gifts, antiques and special treasures.
Within easy walking distance you’ll also find local outfitters that can get you out on the water with a new kayak, or hook you up with fishing gear. With additional shops located throughout the county along the beaches, on the Cape and in Wewahitchka, visitors are pleasantly surprised with all Gulf County has to offer.
