Burn Ban Flyer

Due to dry conditions, the Gulf County Board of County Commissioners has issued a BURN BAN effective immediately for all of Gulf County. The ban includes all outdoor burning of yard debris, household paper products, bonfires, campfires, warming fires, outdoor fireplaces/chimneys, and cooking fires.

Charcoal or gas grills may be used for cooking food. This ban is in effect until rescinded by the Gulf County Board of County Commissioners. For more information and updates be sure to follow the Gulf County Emergency Management Facebook Page.

From America’s Best State Park (T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park) on Cape San Blas to Veterans Memorial Park in Beacon Hill, there is a wide selection of activities to choose from in our parks. With a choice of bike paths, playgrounds, and pavilions there is no shortage of fun at our local parks. 

We like to think of ourselves as one big playground, already pre-assembled and ready for fun. Pack up your picnic basket and head to the park for a day!
