Snorkeling & Diving

Explore our underwater wildlife refuge.

Upon your arrival into Port St. Joe, you’re likely to hit land’s end at a body of water known as St. Joseph Bay. Stretching 15 miles north to south and 6 miles wide at its widest point, the area has one of the richest and most abundant concentrations of marine life in Florida.

Along with clear, shallow waters, the plentiful seagrass beds make it a prime snorkeling area. Grab a mask, snorkel and dip net from one of our local outfitters and get started on your adventure. Looking for a way to get on the water? You can rent your own pontoon boat or hire a private guide who can tailor an eco-tour to your liking where you might find a seahorse, starfish or sea urchin.
