There have been some impacts from the red tide organism, Karenia brevis, in Gulf County. The impacts mainly were seen on the South Cape San Blas area and Indian Pass. Collected samples have been background to low concentrations. This is not a considerable concern for Gulf County at the moment. However, we would love to help you plan your Gulf County vacation. From America’s Best State Park (T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park) on Cape San Blas to Veteran’s Memorial Park in Beacon Hill, there is a wide selection of activities to choose from in our parks. With a choice of bike paths, playgrounds, and pavilions there is no shortage of fun at our local parks. 

We like to think of ourselves as one big playground, already pre-assembled and ready for fun. Pack up your picnic basket and head to the park for a day!
