If you have made it to town, the Gulf County Welcome Center is the perfect place to plan your adventure! We are located just off Hwy 98 in downtown Port St Joe. Come up our stairs or ramp where you can start with freebies, including a Visitor Guide, information brochures, maps, wi-fi access, a taste of Tupelo Honey, and a cup of coffee while being welcomed by a Gulf County Concierge. While you are planning your visit, our Concierge Team can help you discover your interests and connect you with people, places, and activities that best suit you. From easy-going to full-throttle adventure, they can steer you in the right direction, so you get the most of your time in Gulf County. Don’t forget to check out our Historical Artifacts, and take a fun live-action picture in our green screen photo booth! There’s much to do and see, and we are here to answer your questions.
Our back deck offers cozy lounge furniture and boasts stunning views overlooking St. Joseph Bay. We even have a telescope for you to look out further, where you can see wildlife, St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, and the different small islands and flats of the bay. Below the back deck, right along the Port City Trail, you can hook up your hammocks and relax in the breeze or take family photos in front of our Gulf County mural.
