About
FCSTC Mission Statement:
Through community-based sea turtle outreach and education programs, the Forgotten Coast Sea Turtle Center provides interactive experiences for residents and visitors to connect with our local sea turtles and coastal habitats. The FCSTC works to promote the stewardship of coastal and marine resources by providing the information and interactions necessary to both foster conservation and encourage economic development in Northwest Florida.
The FCSTC is an arm of the Florida Coastal Conservancy, a small non-profit based in Gulf County, Florida, and is advised and staffed by volunteers from the Gulf and East Bay Turtle Patrol, Indian Pass Turtle Patrol, St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, St. Vincent Island NWR, and St. Joseph Peninsula Turtle Patrol.
