There have been some impacts from the red tide organism, Karenia brevis, in Gulf County. The impacts mainly were seen on the South Cape San Blas area and Indian Pass. A saltwater fisherman's paradise, inshore fishing in Apalachicola or St Joe Bay is the best anywhere. For the more adventurous, a charter boat and captain can be arranged for an offshore experience.
