A horseback ride along the soft sands of Cape San Blas is a relaxing way to make memories that will last a lifetime. The guides and horses are experienced, providing a safe and slow ride along the beach.

Couples packages, moonlit rides and trail rides are all available as well as rides for large families and groups of up to ten. The rides are very popular so be sure to call ahead and schedule your ride. After all... where else can you ride a horse on the beach?

Horseback riding not your style? Vehicles are also allowed on Indian Pass and Cape San Blas beaches, from a designated beach driving access point, but a permit is required. Accessing the beach without a permit or from non-designated entry points can result in a $500 fine. Don’t have a beach driving vehicle? You can rent a properly permitted golf cart from a local vendor and cruise Indian Pass and Cape San Blas as well. Annual permits can be purchased at the Gulf County Tax Collector’s Office Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., E.T. To arrange for a permit to be obtained via mail, you must contact the Tax Collector’s Office at (850) 229-6116. For the safety of all enjoying our beaches, we ask that you drive slowly and responsibly. Children can’t always hear a vehicle over the breaking surf and in Gulf County, no one should be in a hurry!
