Burn Ban Flyer

Due to dry conditions, the Gulf County Board of County Commissioners has issued a BURN BAN effective immediately for all of Gulf County. The ban includes all outdoor burning of yard debris, household paper products, bonfires, campfires, warming fires, outdoor fireplaces/chimneys, and cooking fires.

Charcoal or gas grills may be used for cooking food. This ban is in effect until rescinded by the Gulf County Board of County Commissioners. For more information and updates be sure to follow the Gulf County Emergency Management Facebook Page.

Discover a full day of movement, mindfulness, and connection at this free community yoga and wellness event on Saturday, June 13 at the Port St. Joe Garden Club.

Designed for all experience levels, this welcoming event brings together a variety of instructors offering 30-minute mini sessions throughout the day. Participants are invited to explore different styles and find what feels best for their body in a supportive, relaxed environment.

Sessions will include Vinyasa Flow, Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and a unique Hatha and Chair Yoga combination class that demonstrates how poses can be adapted for all abilities. In addition to yoga, attendees can enjoy short introductions to Human Design, offering insight into personal energy and wellness.

Mats, blocks, and straps will be available on-site. Guests are encouraged to register in advance and may sign up for multiple sessions throughout the day.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle for a yoga gift basket and other prizes.

Whether you’re brand new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, this event offers a refreshing way to connect, move, and recharge.
