Hear about the latest historical documentation found about The Fort at Prospect Bluff. This was a post the British were using to supply Native Americans with training and ammunition. It was located on the Apalachicola River when Florida was Spanish. The American Navy had given up taking such a strong fort when a "one in a million" shot set off a chain reaction that blew up the ammunition in 1816.This talk does include first-hand descriptions of what was the deadliest cannon shot in American history.
