Celebrate one of Gulf County’s most beloved traditions at the Tupelo Honey Festival in Wewahitchka! Known as the Tupelo Capital of the World, this charming community comes alive each spring to honor the unique and sought-after Tupelo honey—harvested right here along the Apalachicola River.

This year’s festival brings a fresh twist, with honey vendors set up in the Grass Triangle area across the road, creating a new layout to explore while you browse local goods and sweet treats. You’ll also have the chance to meet the Honey Court, a fun and cheerful addition celebrating local beekeepers, honey makers, and the rich heritage behind Tupelo honey.

Spend the day enjoying live music, local food trucks, handmade crafts, and family-friendly activities—all set against the laid-back, welcoming backdrop of Wewahitchka. Whether you’re sampling golden Tupelo honey, tapping your foot to live tunes, or just soaking up the small-town charm, there’s something here for everyone.

Come out, enjoy the sunshine, and experience the sweetness of Gulf County—one spoonful at a time. 🍯
