“The wildlife in St. Joseph Peninsula State Park is amazing.”
“We see deer, bobcat, squirrels, raccoons. Lots of wildlife all of the time. I also enjoy all the different birds that come to the park. My favorite ones are the kingfisher and the great horn owl. The great horn owl is such a magnificent bird and I love to hear it calling in the evenings.”
“My favorite sighting every year are the baby deer. But, the coolest thing I’ve seen are Otters playing in the water. I’ve only seen them a few times and felt privileged to observe them.”
GCFL Adventure Guide and nature enthusiast, Mark, Manager of the St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, is proud to say none of his animals are in cages and you can see different species any time of year.
