“We had a family coin the term “the dolphin parade.” They stayed in one of our homes out on Indian Pass called Palmetto Breeze. It is a great house right on the Gulf. This family happened to be up early one day and they saw a pod of dolphins playing and chasing a school of fish. They were so close to shore, they could see them from the deck that day.”
“After that they got up early so they could walk down and see them from the beach. They loved the “dolphin parade” and watched them swim by every day. In fact, they wrote about it in the guest book and another family read it while they vacationed. So, this family’s three-year old daughter got “dolphin patrol” duty and kept watch every day! The tradition just got passed on.”
Ms. Jeri, beach adventurer and owner of Gulf Coast Vacation Rentals, recommends flipping through the guest book in your rental home. You never know what treasures you may find.
