Located just off Highway 98 overlooking St. Joseph Bay in downtown Port St. Joe, our friendly team is here to help with true southern hospitality.
Stop in for a refreshment and let us help you with directions and things to do. Want to know the best places to find scallops? Just ask! Want to know how to clean them? Stop on by and we will tell you. Need help booking a fishing charter or renting a boat? We can help with that, too.
Open year-round, the Gulf County Welcome Center has free maps and brochures and a stunning view of St. Joseph Bay. Our huge, elevated deck provides one of the best vantage points in town for planning your trip around the Bay.
The back porch offers free WiFi so, if you need to reconnect with reality for any reason, this is the perfect spot. We must warn you, though... the view of the Bay is spectacular, so you might get distracted. The Welcome Center is a great place to park for a stroll along the BayWalk Trail or out to the gazebo for a closer view of St. Joseph Bay.
No matter whether you are taking a day trip, hanging out or just happened upon us, stop in for a visit.
No worries, our Visitor Information Kiosks are located throughout Gulf County and provide the most up-to-date information you need to make your visit a great one.
Drop by, give us a call or send us an email. We’re easy to find and ready to help.
We have Visitor Guides available at the Welcome Center. But if you haven’t made your way to Port St. Joe yet, we’ll be happy to send you one. Just fill out the form and it will land in your mailbox in no time.
