If you're out for the coolest club scene, booming bass or stuffy service, you won't find that here. But if connecting with family and friends—or making new ones—in a comfortable setting sounds good, come on down!

We serve up plenty of great food and local flavor on our coast. Start on historic Reid Avenue, in downtown Port St. Joe, with a selection of sidewalk cafes, like Provision's, open for lunch and dinner. And downtowner, Joe Mama's, was recently ranked one of America's 100 Can't-Miss Pizzarias; one of only two that made the list in Florida. If you're into fresh shrimp and oysters, Indian Pass Raw Bar is the local seafood dive offering an experience you won't forget. From fried green tomatoes to grilled grouper and a Sunsetini overlooking the water, check out Sunset Coastal Grill. Fresh sushi with a stunning view of the bay awaits at School of Fish.

And, who doesn't like to let their hair down on vacation. After a day on the beach, put the kiddies in the bunk and take Mama dancin.' Live music is fast becoming a way of life around here. From relaxed roadside taverns to dockside cafes where you can tie up and unwind, you'll find tunes and tales of the coast from local favorites, and then you might be surprised at who picks up a guitar. Willie Nelson, Tim McGraw and Hank, Jr. seem to like this place.
