Great bass and fly fishing await as you meander through the many coves and creeks. Or, head to Lake Wimico. Spend the day sailing, exploring, birdwatching and relaxing. It’s a whole new world.
Everything is connected in Gulf County. Take a sail up the Canal or take a fishing charter into Lake Wimico. The freshwater fishing here is more protected from the weather and the trees will keep you cool. Try your hand at bass fishing or cruise along past old bridges and watch the charming house boats float. There are so many depots, creeks and rivers, you can spend hours exploring before you find your perfect spot.
Since all of the waterways are linked in Gulf County, there is always an easy day trip waiting to happen. There is nothing better than exploring St. Joseph Bay in the morning and then motoring down the Intracoastal for lunch in Apalachicola. Many of our charter captains will happily take you on an eco tour where you may discover three or four waterways you’ve never seen!
