Located just off highway C-30 on C-30E, Salinas Park offers visitors a variety of amenities just a short walk from the Gulf of Mexico. Because the park is east of Cape San Blas, the previaling coastal currents deposit sediment from the Apalachicola River onto the park's beaches, giving the sand it's slightly browner, "Old Florida" look.
This stretch of beach offers an experience all its own, bringing visitors back time and time again.
A spacious gazebo is located within the park, atop of the park's largest dune formation. Boardwalks afford visitors access to the gazebo while preserving the delicate nature of the dunes.
A playground for the kids is conveniently located close to the park's many covered picnic tables. The gulf beach is just over the dune line and offers great surf fishing and shelling possibilities.
Parking is provided at each picnic site as well as in the spacious parking lot.
Restroom and outdoor shower facilities make this park a great place to spend the day. Overnight campring is prohibited.
